I have recently been contacted by the campaigning organisation 38 Degrees who have informed me about a very unfortunate technical failure on their website which means emails sent via their system didn't reach me.
38 Degrees have informed me that:
"Unfortunately, some emails from your constituents sent to you using the 38 Degrees website haven’t been reaching your inbox. This has meant that 846 emails from 379 constituents have not been delivered. These constituents have used 38 Degrees to send emails to you about issues they care about, which you have then not received. It's meant that you've not had the opportunity to read or reply to these messages. I'm really sorry about this.
…. I want to stress though that we take full responsibility for ensuring that emails sent via the 38 Degrees website arrive in your inbox, and in no way blame the PDS (Parliamentary Digital Service)."
I am absolutely dedicated to listening to my constituents and responding to you when you contact me. I am very disappointed that the failure of a third party website has prevented me from doing this.
If you are a constituent and you would like to contact me electronically then I would like to take this opportunity to strongly urge you to always do so by emailing me directly at [email protected]
Contacting me using the above address is always the simplest and most direct form of getting in touch with me.
